Curious, SomersetLive reached out through social media to Shatner himself, asking if he had been in the Yeovil pub. The actor replied, but with an ambiguous answer that left the mystery unsolved.

However, inquiries with the pub’s management came up empty. The pub manager stated they had no knowledge of Shatner visiting.
