The Cotswolds Designer Outlet, located near the M5 in Gloucestershire, is gearing up for its highly anticipated grand opening in early summer 2025. With an array of job adverts for the various shops, it is clear that the opening is imminent, possibly in July. The outlet, situated near the Dobbies garden centre, will be unveiled in two stages and is part of a larger development plan that includes 1,500 new homes in the area.
In recent weeks, a growing number of job opportunities have been posted for well-known brands set to open at the new retail destination. Speculation about additional stores joining the lineup has also been circulating, some of which have already been confirmed, according to reports from Devon Live.
Managing the Cotswolds Designer Outlet is outlet operator Multi-Realm, with the expectation of creating up to 500 new jobs once completed. The outlet is at the core of Robert Hitchins' long-term vision for the 300-acre development site and, once fully complete in two phases, will feature over 90 brands alongside the Dobbies Garden centre and Waitrose Foodhall. Simultaneously, the construction of more than 1,000 homes is well underway on the site, along with associated community spaces and infrastructure.
