England and Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins and his long-time partner, Ellie Alderson, joyfully tied the knot on Sunday in a beautifully intimate ceremony. The couple, who share two children, celebrated their union with close friends and family, radiating happiness throughout the day.
Ellie shared exquisite moments from the wedding on Instagram, looking breathtaking in a floor-length, sleeveless white lace gown. Her hair was elegantly swept back, complementing her natural and refined makeup.
Photographs captured Ellie holding a delicate bouquet and a chic cream Chanel handbag, standing alongside Ollie—originally from Newton Abbot, Devon—and her sister before the ceremony. The ceremony took place at the iconic Marylebone Town Hall in London, a venue that provided the perfect glamorous backdrop. Ellie’s sister, Sofia, expressed her excitement, describing it as “the most special day ever watching my best friend and sister marry her love.”

Romantic details were sprinkled throughout the day, including silver balloons that spelled out “The Watkins” in the bridal suite. Photographer Ash Piper, who documented the wedding, called it an “absolute honour” to capture such a special moment at the iconic venue.
Ollie and Ellie’s relationship began in 2018 and has since blossomed into a beautiful family life with their children. Their daughter Amber was born in September 2021, followed by their son Marley in April 2023.
Before rising to Premier League fame, Ollie Watkins developed his talents at Exeter City’s academy. He spent time on loan at Weston-super-Mare during the 2014–15 season, where he scored ten goals in 25 appearances. Watkins returned to Exeter a more polished player and has since made significant strides in his football career.
