England International Flanker Ted Hill Extends Contract with Bath Rugby Until 2029

England international flanker Ted Hill has committed his future to Bath Rugby, signing a three-year contract extension that will keep him at the Rec until 2029. Hill joined Bath in 2023 after Worcester Warriors, where he served as captain, collapsed. Since arriving, he has become a vital part of Bath’s forward pack, bringing power, pace, and versatility to the team’s performance.

The 26-year-old made his debut against Northampton Saints as a substitute, marking his first appearance and victory in Blue, Black, and White. To date, he has earned 63 caps and played a pivotal role in Bath’s starting XV in both the EPCR Challenge Cup final and the Gallagher Premiership final during the 2024/25 season.

Reflecting on his contract renewal, Hill said, “Renewing my contract at Bath is a really special moment. I’ve loved being part of this club, working with an incredible group of players and coaches, and playing in front of the electric fans at The Rec. Extending my contract is exciting as we strive for even greater achievements together.”

Hill’s versatility extends beyond flanker duties; he can also call line-outs and effectively cover both the second and back row positions, making him an invaluable asset to the squad.

Bath’s head of rugby, Johann van Graan, praised Hill’s development: “Ted’s journey since joining Bath has been remarkable. He’s evolved into one of England’s top players and has become a beloved figure at our club. We’re thrilled that Ted will continue his journey with us in Blue, Black, and White.”
