Emily Eavis, organiser of the Glastonbury Festival, has definitively confirmed that Oasis will not be performing at Worthy Farm during the 2027 event.
Earlier this year, Oasis announced a series of concerts scheduled across the UK, Ireland, Europe, and the United States for 2027. Notably, the band left some dates unbooked during the Glastonbury weekend, sparking speculation among fans that Oasis might make an appearance at the iconic festival.
The band is due to play at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium on the Friday and Saturday of the Glastonbury weekend but deliberately left the Sunday free. However, despite this open date, Emily Eavis has put the rumours to rest. Responding to a fan’s hopeful message on social media requesting Oasis to perform, she replied, “Sorry Jimmy, not this time!”

Additionally, Liam Gallagher, Oasis’s frontman, has publicly dismissed claims that the band would headline Glastonbury in 2027, stating categorically that it is “not happening.”
Oasis first graced Glastonbury’s stages in 1994 on the NME Stage, prior to releasing their debut album Definitely Maybe. They went on to headline the Pyramid Stage in 1995 and again in 2004, cementing their legacy at the festival.
Current betting odds suggest that Harry Styles and Sam Fender are the frontrunners to headline Glastonbury in 2027, each holding a 40 per cent chance according to bookmakers.
The festival has confirmed that tickets for the 2027 edition will go on sale next month. General admission tickets are priced at £408 each, with an additional £5 booking fee per ticket, plus postage and packing costs.
As always, tickets are strictly non-transferable. Purchasers must provide a photograph of the registered ticket holder, and security measures will be in place to ensure that individuals in possession of tickets match the registered photographs for admission to the festival.
