Emily Eavis, organiser of the Glastonbury Festival, has confirmed that Oasis will not be performing at next year’s festival at Worthy Farm.
The band recently announced a series of concerts across the UK, Ireland, Europe, and the United States in 2027. Notably, there are a few dates left open in their schedule, which led to speculation among fans that Oasis might be preparing to take the Glastonbury stage.
Oasis are scheduled to play at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium on the Friday and Saturday during Glastonbury weekend but have left the Sunday free. Despite this apparent gap, Emily Eavis has publicly stated that Oasis will not be part of the festival lineup.

In response to a fan’s social media request: “Please say you’ve got Oasis,” Eavis replied, “Sorry Jimmy, not this time!”
Additionally, Liam Gallagher, Oasis’s frontman, has dispelled rumours of the band headlining Glastonbury 2027, telling fans that it is “not happening.”
Oasis made their festival debut at Glastonbury in 1994 on the NME Stage before releasing their debut album, Definitely Maybe. They subsequently returned to headline the Pyramid Stage in 1995 and again in 2004.
Current favourites to headline Glastonbury next summer include Harry Styles and Sam Fender, each carrying 40% odds.
The festival has announced that tickets for Glastonbury 2027 will go on sale next month. General admission tickets are priced at £408 each, with an additional £5 booking fee per ticket plus postage and packing.
Tickets remain strictly non-transferable, and purchasers must provide a photograph of the registered ticket holder. Security checks will ensure that only the person shown in the photograph is admitted to the festival.
