An 80-year-old man was attacked and injured in Bath city centre on Saturday afternoon, February 21. The incident took place at approximately 3:45 pm on Argyle Street, close to the iconic Pulteney Bridge.
According to Avon and Somerset Police, the victim fell to the ground during the assault, sustaining a head injury and cuts to his knuckles. The suspect is described as a woman in her 50s, who was accompanied by a dog at the time.
Authorities have carried out CCTV reviews and house-to-house enquiries as part of the ongoing investigation. Police are urging anyone who witnessed the event or has relevant information to come forward.
