Dunster Beach Wins Dog-friendly Award

The coastal destination of Dunster Beach has been honored with a prestigious award for its dog-friendly policies. Holi Moli, a five-star beach hut at Dunster Beach, clinched the Gold Tourism Award at the Bristol, Bath and Somerset Tourism Awards. The achievement marks another accolade for its proud owners, Brett Bates and Susan Juggins, who had previously secured a national Visit England award.

Brett expressed his elation at the win, stating, “It feels like an enormous achievement to have got to the finals in the first place but to go on to win gold was just phenomenal.” Holi Moli triumphed over tough competition from Wells Cathedral and The Littern in Radstock, affirming its reputation as a top dog-friendly destination. The owners were presented with the gold award at a ceremony hosted by ITV’s Ben McGrail at Batch Country House, and the beach hut will now contend for the national finals in June 2025.

Holi Moli offers luxurious accommodation with amenities such as underfloor heating, en-suite facilities, a kingsize bed, fully equipped kitchen, and landscaped gardens. Positioned beside Exmoor National Park and the Somerset coast, it provides a unique and lavish retreat for couples seeking a self-catering escape.
