Driver’s Neck Cut After Passenger Smashes Car Window in Bridgwater

A car driver in Bridgwater sustained a neck injury after a passenger from another vehicle punched and shattered the driver’s side window. The incident occurred around 9pm on May 22 on The Broadway.

Despite the injury, the driver, a man in his early 60s, did not require hospital treatment. The suspect, believed to be in his 30s or 40s, was reportedly inside a silver or grey vehicle before exiting the front passenger seat to attack the car window.

Avon and Somerset police have issued an appeal for witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to help identify the attacker. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact them at 101, quoting reference number 5225143505, or to submit details via the police website.
