Driver Fined for Letting Wife Use Toilet at Bristol Airport Traffic Light

A driver at Bristol Airport has been fined for allowing his wife to use the toilet after stopping at a red traffic light. Christian, who was picking up his mother-in-law, claims the traffic light was red when he stopped and feels unfairly fined despite the circumstances.

Despite acknowledging the signs prohibiting stopping to drop off or pick up, Christian believes it’s a tactic to compel customers to pay for parking. His dispute with VCN, the company behind the fine, remains unresolved.

In a second recent complaint about fines at the airport, a woman was penalized for a 33-second stop. Bristol Airport cited ongoing construction and safety concerns as reasons for strict enforcement.
