The well-known bed retailer Dreams recently celebrated the opening of its first store in Bath on Friday, May 23. Located in Metro Retail Park, this new branch marks the company’s expansion into the city, providing residents with easier access to quality beds and expert sleep advice.
Jonathan Hirst, CEO of Dreams, expressed excitement about the new location: “Bath is a fantastic addition to our store network. We’re dedicated to helping more people across the UK enjoy better sleep and are thrilled to bring our products and expertise directly to the Bath community.”
The Bath Dreams store joins a bustling retail area that includes Lidl, Costa, McDonald’s, Currys, and Pets at Home in the nearby Weston Lock Retail Park within the Twerton suburb. Prior to this, local shoppers had to travel to stores in Bristol, Trowbridge, Yeovil, or Weston-super-Mare to visit a Dreams branch.

In addition to enhancing local shopping options, the new store has created five jobs for residents, strengthening the local economy. Founded in 1985 with its headquarters in High Wycombe, Dreams continues to grow its presence across the UK.
The Bath store operates seven days a week: Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm, Saturdays from 9am to 6pm, and Sundays from 10am to 4pm, ensuring convenient shopping hours for all.
