A man in his late 30s has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing incident on Baildon Road, Weston-super-Mare, on the morning of Monday, September 22. The suspect remains in police custody as the investigation continues.
Two victims, both in their 30s, sustained stab wounds and are currently hospitalized in serious but stable condition. Authorities have assured the public that there is no ongoing danger to the community.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson stated, “We arrested a man in connection with the serious assault reported at 6:20 a.m. on Monday. Increased police patrols are in place, and we encourage residents to share any concerns or information.”

The police have emphasized that those involved are known to each other and have asked anyone with CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage related to the incident to come forward by calling 101 with reference number 5225266293 or completing the online appeal form.
