Domino’s is set to open its first-ever pod store in the UK tomorrow, located at Westpark 26 Business Park in Wellington, Somerset. This compact yet innovative new store format promises to deliver the same delicious quality Domino’s is known for, crafted with fresh dough, vine-ripened tomato sauce, and 100% mozzarella cheese.
Operating seven days a week from 11:30 am to 11 pm, the pod will offer both collection and delivery services, catering to locals and visitors alike. Notably, this new store will introduce CHICK ‘N’ DIP, Domino’s bold new chicken sub-brand that launched in selected locations in September 2025. The menu features hot and crispy Tenders, Wings, and Boneless Bites served with nine internationally inspired dipping sauces.
Despite the pod’s footprint being over 25% smaller than a typical Domino’s store, it maintains the brand’s signature look and feel. Weighing approximately 23 tonnes, the pod was manufactured and assembled in just six weeks, ready for its grand debut.

To celebrate the opening, Domino’s will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:30 am, giving away 250 free pizzas and special prizes to some of the store’s first customers. Additional prizes can be won by locating Domino’s hidden ‘Golden Tickets’ around the retail park on Monday, November 3rd.
The grand opening events on Friday, November 7th, and Saturday, November 8th, will feature giveaways including pizza vouchers, Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, Coca-Cola products, and exclusive Domino’s merchandise like pod-style headphones.
