A medium to large ginger or blond fur dog went on a rampage, attacking sheep in a Somerset field, prompting a police investigation. The incident occurred in the Dolberrow and Churchill area, near Winscombe, around 3:15pm on Tuesday, April 1.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward and help identify the owner, described as a man in dark clothing. Avon and Somerset Police are actively seeking leads and have requested the public to report any relevant information to assist with the investigation.
In a statement, Avon and Somerset Police stated, “We received a report of the incident at 3:46pm on Tuesday 1 April, approximately 30 minutes after it occurred. The dog’s owner, a man in dark clothing, is being sought as part of ongoing enquiries. Anyone with information is urged to contact 101, referencing the number 5225093347.”
