Grammy-winning artist Doechii has officially withdrawn from performing at Bristol’s FORWARDS Festival just days before her scheduled appearance on August 24th. No reasons have been provided for her sudden decision, leaving fans and organizers in the dark.
FORWARDS Festival posted on Instagram: “Unfortunately, Doechii will no longer be able to perform at FORWARDS on Sunday, August 24th. We apologise to any disappointed fans and hope to welcome her in the future.”
The festival also highlighted the strength of their lineup despite the cancellation. “We are proud of this year’s Sunday lineup, featuring three outstanding female headliners—Jorja Smith, The Last Dinner Party, and Olivia Dean—alongside a diverse array of talented artists.”

Doechii’s withdrawal follows a similar cancellation at London’s All Points East Festival, where she was set to perform on August 23rd. Organizers expressed their regret: “We’re very sorry to announce that Doechii will no longer be performing at her upcoming shows. She is an incredible artist, and like her fans, we were excited to see her on stage.”
Fans attending FORWARDS Festival voiced their disappointment on social media, with many requesting refunds. When asked about potential replacements, FORWARDS replied: “We are working tirelessly to find an artist able to fill Doechii’s slot on very short notice, considering the logistical challenges involved. We will provide updates through our official channels as soon as possible.”
Doechii, known for hits like “Anxiety,” recently performed at Glastonbury Festival earlier this summer. Her sudden festival withdrawals remain unexplained, leaving fans eager for more information.
