Disturbance Caused by Domino’s Upsetting Hotel Guests in South West

A long-standing Domino’s Pizza location in King Street, Weymouth, is facing backlash from hotel guests and nearby residents due to noise and disturbance caused by the late-night and early-morning operations of the restaurant. Complaints have been lodged with Dorset Council by the Mayfair Guest House and Gloucester House, citing issues such as blocked pavements, poor parking, and disturbances at unsociable hours.

The statement from Gloucester House, part of the application to review the license, expresses disappointment in Domino’s operations, stating that the franchise’s activities do not align with the ‘support and positive change for the community’ that the company advertises on its website. The complaints list various disturbances, including early and late delivery lorries and rubbish collections, revving of delivery vehicles, dangerous speeding, illegal parking, and disruption to the peace of the residential community.

Furthermore, the statement accuses Domino’s of disregarding the impact of their operations on the lives, mental health, and businesses of the community, emphasizing the need for the disruptions to cease. The Mayfair Guest House also highlights instances of blocked access due to vehicles associated with Domino’s.
