Gary Browne, a 41-year-old from Paulton, has been sentenced to five years and eight months in prison after authorities uncovered over four kilograms of illegal drugs during raids conducted last October. The large haul included significant quantities of heroin, cocaine, and ketamine, alongside £20,000 in cash.
The drugs were seized from properties linked to Browne in Peasedown St John and Paulton. Avon and Somerset Police recovered more than 2.4 kilograms of class A drugs—1.6 kilograms of cocaine and 877 grams of heroin—and an additional 1.6 kilograms of class B ketamine.
Following his arrest, Browne was charged with possession of class A and class B drugs with intent to supply, as well as possession of criminal property. He pleaded guilty to all charges and was subsequently sentenced at Bristol Crown Court on January 16.

Police Constable Jed Kingdon emphasized the serious impact of drug supply on communities, stating, “The supply of illegal drugs causes significant harm, particularly targeting the most vulnerable. We remain dedicated to identifying and prosecuting those responsible. If you suspect drug activity in your area, please report it to us so we can take action.”
