Dangerous Driver Pleads Guilty After Serious Collision on A303

A 30-year-old man has admitted to causing serious injury by dangerous driving following a collision on the A303. Muhammad Umair, from Sandhurst, pleaded guilty at Swindon Crown Court today (Monday, May 25) in connection with the crash that occurred on the evening of Saturday, May 23.

The incident involved a Toyota Yaris and a BMW R1250 motorcycle, both traveling eastbound near Bulford, close to Stonehenge. Emergency services were called to the scene at approximately 5:50 pm. The motorcyclist, a man in his 60s, sustained life-threatening injuries and was promptly transported to hospital for urgent medical treatment.

Umair, a Pakistani national, has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to return to Swindon Crown Court on June 26 for sentencing.
