Dan Ellison Aims for Strong Finish to Season with Yeovil Town

Dan Ellison made a notable return to Yeovil Town this past weekend and is determined to help the team finish the season strongly. After spending an additional month on loan at Weston-super-Mare, Ellison came off the bench during Yeovil’s Good Friday victory over Truro City. He then started the following match against Eastleigh, where he scored despite the team’s defeat.

During his time with Weston-super-Mare, Ellison started eight matches while the club pushed for a spot in the National League South play-offs—potentially setting up a future clash with Yeovil in the National League. Reflecting on his journey, Ellison shared, “It’s been a tough season moving on from Bristol Rovers, then joining Yeovil, and spending time at Weston. Weston was brilliant to play for. I felt I did really well there, enjoyed my time, and it’s a great club—I hope they achieve promotion.”

Ellison emphasized the significance of his return to Yeovil: “Coming back here was everything I wanted. I had a point to prove and I’m grateful for the opportunity to play until the season’s end. The game against Eastleigh was tough, but I felt I performed well and scoring a goal was a highlight, especially since it’s been a while. Although we didn’t get the result we wanted, we were close.”

He added, “I felt I deserved to start, and while it didn’t happen initially, I worked hard at Weston to earn my place. Now that I’ve got the chance, I intend to make the most of it for the remainder of the season.”
