Dalek Invasion Returns as Helicopter Museum Hosts Out-of-This-World Spectacle

This June, the Helicopter Museum in Weston-super-Mare will be transformed into a thrilling sci-fi playground for Doctor Who fans of all ages. On Sunday, June 15, the highly anticipated Dalek Invasion event returns, bringing life-size animatronic Daleks and beloved characters from the iconic series to the museum’s display hangars.

Visitors will have the chance to experience a live “Audience With The Daleks” show, featuring a full-scale Tardis and immersive themed photo opportunities. Fans can meet costumed characters from across the Doctor Who universe, including appearances by several past actors who have portrayed the Doctor.

Complementing the Doctor Who festivities, the museum will open select helicopters with notable connections to television and science fiction. Guests can explore aircraft such as the Russian Mil-8, the Huey, and the Westland 300, with volunteer guides on hand to explain their controls and share fascinating backstories.
