Dozens of aspiring teachers have officially embarked on their professional journeys after completing a comprehensive two-year training programme with the Futura Learning Partnership.
The graduation ceremony, held at Clevedon School, honoured the outstanding participants of the trust’s Early Career Teachers (ECT) programme. Mentors, headteachers, and senior leaders from schools across Somerset and Bristol gathered to celebrate the achievements and development of this exceptional cohort.
These newly qualified teachers come from a diverse array of institutions, ranging from primary schools such as Bridge Farm, Chestnut Park, and The Meadows, to secondary schools including Bedminster Down, Wellsway, and Clevedon School.

Hannah Evans from SBL Academy also praised the programme, saying, “With an excellent mentor and user-friendly learning materials, my ECT induction was both enjoyable and highly productive.”
Viv Wadsley, the programme coordinator, commended the teachers’ commitment and potential. “It has been a true privilege to support these exceptional individuals as they step confidently into their teaching careers,” she said. “Today’s celebration marks not just a graduation, but a bold statement that the future of education is bright—guided by passionate, dedicated, and inspiring educators.”
