Clarks Village outlet shopping centre has expanded its retail offerings with the arrival of two exciting new stores: Castore, a British high-performance sportswear brand fuelled by Formula 1 partnerships, and The Handmade Boutique, a pop-up store showcasing locally crafted goods.
Castore, founded by former athletes and brothers Tom and Phil Beahon in Liverpool, is renowned for designing official kits and fanwear for elite teams such as McLaren Formula 1, Oracle Red Bull Racing, England Cricket, and Harlequins Rugby. The brand also offers a versatile collection of men’s, women’s, and junior clothing designed for both athletic training and everyday wear. The new Castore store is conveniently located in the Apple Court mall at Clarks Village, neighbouring popular outlets Trespass and Saltrock.
Complementing Castore’s premium sportswear is The Handmade Boutique, a vibrant pop-up store featuring creations from up to 40 local artists, crafters, and producers. Operating alongside a permanent site on Taunton High Street, this boutique offers an eclectic selection of handcrafted items, including chocolates, clothing, jewellery, painted glass, keyrings, candles, home scents, eco-friendly gift wrapping, and festive decorations.

Rebecca Fenner, company director of The Handmade Boutique, explains, “The Handmade Boutique is a space where local crafters bring their creativity to life. Everything is handmade, locally produced, and unique, with designers actively involved in running the store alongside selling their products.”
Reflecting on the partnership, Fenner added, “Having previously operated market stalls at Clarks Village, we appreciate how the centre continues to support small businesses. Securing a permanent shop space here has been a goal since we started those markets many years ago.”
