Champions Cup Semi-Final Venues Set Pending Bath Rugby’s Quarter-Final Outcome

Bath Rugby will be playing their semi-final match away from home if they advance past Northampton Saints in the 2025/26 Investec Champions Cup quarter-finals this weekend. EPCR, the tournament organizer, has confirmed four potential venues for the semi-finals, with home country advantage granted to clubs with the highest pool stage rankings.

On Friday night, Bath Rugby takes on Northampton Saints at the Recreation Ground to determine which English team moves forward to face the winner of the clash between last season’s champions Bordeaux Bègles and Toulouse.

If Bordeaux Bègles prevail, they will host either Bath or Northampton at Stade Atlantique Bordeaux Métropole, located just seven miles from their home ground, Stade Chaban-Delmas. On the other hand, if Toulouse wins, the semi-final will take place in England at Stadium MK in Milton Keynes—104 miles from Bath’s home stadium—over the weekend of May 2-3.

The Investec Champions Cup Final is scheduled for Saturday, May 23, at Bilbao’s San Mamés Stadium.

The confirmed potential semi-final venues are:

  • Stade Atlantique Bordeaux Métropole, Bordeaux, France
  • Stadium MK, Milton Keynes, England
  • [Two other venues not specified in this text]

Semi-final fixtures will be announced promptly following the conclusion of all quarter-final matches.

Last year’s semi-finals, featuring Leinster Rugby vs Northampton Saints at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium and Bordeaux Bègles vs Stade Toulousain at Stade Atlantique, drew record crowds exceeding 42,000 fans for each match, demonstrating the growing popularity and competitive intensity of the Investec Champions Cup.
