These awards recognize and celebrate independent businesses across 28 counties, showcasing the diverse talent and innovation in Somerset and neighboring areas like Dorset.
The winners from Somerset span various categories such as food and drink, accommodation, and family attractions, illustrating the region’s entrepreneurial prowess. Nominated businesses competed against others from Somerset and Dorset, offering small enterprises an opportunity for well-deserved recognition.
Across the UK, tens of thousands of businesses were nominated in the initial voting stage, with a total of 515,000 votes cast. The awards encompass 28 counties and are open to all businesses, providing a platform for businesses to nominate the best in each category.

Three of Somerset’s winning businesses are based in Bath, with Robyn’s Yoga on Milsom Street securing the title of best Yoga/Pilates Studio, Ro Feilden-Cook winning best Fitness Instructor, and Honey Willow on Pulteney Bridge earning the accolade for best Women’s Fashion/Accessories.
Frome also claimed victories in the food categories, with the secret cocktail bar Hydeaway named Best Bar and The High Pavement winning best Casual Dining.
