Authorities are actively investigating two recent burglaries in Castle Cary, Somerset, where cash was reported stolen from residential properties.
The first incident took place in the early hours of Monday, December 15, at a home on Coombe Close. Intruders forced entry and made off with an undisclosed sum of cash.
Just a day later, on Tuesday, December 16, three young males broke into a property on Victoria Road. They also stole a quantity of cash before fleeing towards Station Road.

The suspects involved in the second burglary are described as white males, likely in their late teens or early 20s.
At this time, police have not confirmed whether the two break-ins are connected but continue to conduct inquiries in the area.
Avon and Somerset Police have issued an appeal for any witnesses or anyone with CCTV footage that could aid the investigation to come forward.
A police statement read: “We’re appealing for any witnesses or anyone with CCTV footage to come forward after two burglaries in Castle Cary earlier this month.
“At about 1.45am on Monday 15 December, entry was forced to a property in Coombe Close before the offenders left the area. A quantity of cash was stolen.
“The following day (16 December), at about 5pm, three males forced entry to a property in Victoria Road before leaving in the direction of Station Road a short while later having taken a quantity of cash. They are described as white, and were all believed to be aged in their late teens or early 20s.
“Officers are investigating the incidents and have been carrying out enquiries in the area.
