In the early hours of Monday, May 12, a building in the village of South Petherton, Somerset, was broken into and cash was stolen from an ATM. The incident was reported at 1:37 a.m. on St James Street, prompting a swift response from Avon and Somerset Police, who arrived on the scene within ten minutes.
Investigations revealed that the perpetrators forced entry into the building before stealing the cash. Authorities conducted a thorough search of the location and reviewed nearby CCTV footage to gather evidence. Crime scene investigators also attended to collect forensic information.
The number of suspects involved remains unknown, and the police are actively working to identify those responsible. Officers are urging anyone with information related to the case to come forward.
