Avon and Somerset Police have launched an urgent appeal following a violent assault on a bus passenger in Frome. The incident occurred around 7:10 pm on Friday, November 7, in Market Place.
The victim, a man in his mid-30s, was traveling from Trowbridge to Frome with another individual he had met earlier that day. After a dispute broke out during the journey, the victim was attacked upon disembarking the bus. Witnesses report that the suspect punched the man to the ground and proceeded to repeatedly kick him in the head before fleeing the scene.
The victim sustained minor injuries, including bruising and swelling, and was promptly taken to the hospital. He has since been discharged and is recovering at home with access to support services.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, in his early to mid-20s, with dark hair. At the time of the attack, he was wearing a black tracksuit and white trainers.
