In the early hours of Thursday, October 30, a bus crashed into a tree in West Monkton, Somerset, resulting in three people sustaining injuries. Emergency services were alerted just before 4:10 a.m. and promptly responded to the scene.
The three injured individuals aboard the bus required medical assistance, though the severity of their injuries has not yet been disclosed. Firefighters from Taunton worked diligently to extract the casualties from the wreckage, while paramedics provided immediate care.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service released a statement confirming the incident: “Crews from Taunton attended after a bus collided with a tree. Three casualties inside the bus needed medical help and were safely removed by fire crews and paramedics. Police also responded to the scene. The fire crew secured the vehicle before handing responsibility over to recovery teams.”
