Building for the Future: Bath Rugby Secures 15 Players on New Contracts

Johann van Graan, head of rugby at Bath Rugby, has made significant strides in securing the club’s future success by announcing new contracts for 15 players. Among them are Ciaran Donoghue and Arthur Green, both of whom have emerged as standout performers in recent months.

Ciaran Donoghue, originally a full-back but adapted as a fly-half during the Premiership Rugby Cup due to an injury crisis, has made a strong impression. His remarkable performance led the club to victory in the competition, earning him the player of the match accolade on both his European and Premiership debut.

Arthur Green, a 21-year-old number eight, also demonstrated his potential by securing the player of the match title on his Premiership debut against Exeter Chiefs. As the son of former England prop Will Green, he has quickly become a prominent first team option, especially with the unfortunate injury to Jaco Coetzee.
