Bristol Rovers assistant manager Paul Raynor has confirmed that promising young midfielder Kian Hill is currently on trial with Yeovil Town as they consider bringing him in on loan for the 2026/27 season.
Hill, a highly-rated academy prospect, gained valuable match experience last season during a loan stint at Bristol Manor Farm in non-league football. Now, Yeovil Town of the National League are keen to assess him in competitive action before finalizing any loan agreement.
“They like the look of Kian,” Raynor told BristolLive. “They’ve seen what he offers in our youth sides and during his previous loan. We always planned to loan him out to gain essential first-team experience.”

Raynor added, “This trial period allows Yeovil to see him perform in a match environment before committing to a formal loan. He played 80 minutes last night and did very well. We hope this experience in the National League will help his development this season.”
Hill made his senior debut for Bristol Rovers last season as a late substitute in the EFL Trophy against Cheltenham Town. He has also impressed in first-team training sessions under manager Steve Evans and assistant Paul Raynor. With this loan opportunity on the horizon, Hill looks set to continue progressing his career through regular competitive football.
