Bristol Rovers assistant manager Paul Raynor has confirmed that promising young midfielder Kian Hill is currently on trial with Yeovil Town as the National League club evaluates him for a potential loan deal.
Hill, a highly regarded academy player, gained valuable senior experience last season while on loan at Bristol Manor Farm. Now, Yeovil Town is keen to see him in action in a competitive setting before deciding on a loan agreement for the 2026/27 season.
Raynor told BristolLive, “They like the look of Kian. They’ve seen glimpses of him in our youth teams and during his loan spell last season. We had planned to loan him out again to help him gain more experience.”

He added, “They invited him on a trial basis—although officially it’s a loan period—to assess whether he’d be a good fit for their squad. He played for about 80 minutes last night and performed very well. We’re hopeful he can gain valuable National League experience this season.”
Hill made his senior debut for the Gas last season as a late substitute in an EFL Trophy clash against Cheltenham Town and has impressed during first-team training sessions under manager Steve Evans and Raynor.
