Bristol Airport is set to introduce a fresh and exciting dining option with the opening of Alembic, a world tapas restaurant, on Thursday, July 3. Located in the departure lounge, Alembic will bring a Mediterranean flair to travelers through a diverse menu featuring light bites and small plates such as Padron peppers, focaccia, Gambas al Ajillo, and Spanish meatballs. Diners can also enjoy sharing boards and daily specials that highlight quality ingredients and bold flavors.
For those traveling early, Alembic offers a thoughtfully crafted breakfast menu with traditional favorites like scrambled eggs on sourdough, bacon croissant rolls, and Greek yoghurt, alongside Mediterranean-inspired dishes including five beans on sourdough, avocado on focaccia, and shakshuka. The menu ensures inclusivity by providing vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free choices, so all guests can enjoy a fulfilling meal before their journey.
Kate Gwyther, Head of Retail at Bristol Airport, expressed enthusiasm about the new addition: “We’re really pleased to provide a premium experience in stylish and relaxing surroundings. Alembic offers a distinct dining option for brunch, lunch, or dinner, complemented by excellent South West drinks brands, which customers can also purchase at the World Duty Free store after trying them.”
Beth Brewster, Senior Coordinating Director for Avolta Food & Beverage and Essentials, highlighted the significance of the new venture: “This is our inaugural opening at Bristol Airport, and we’re proud to introduce Alembic as our second launch of this innovative restaurant concept this year. Our focus is on creating delicious dishes using the finest produce, paired with locally sourced spirits and exceptional coffee. We’re confident travelers will love Alembic’s Mediterranean vibe, flavorful food, and outstanding customer service.”
With Alembic, Bristol Airport presents a standout dining destination that brings a global tapas experience to local and international travelers alike.
