Bristol Airport is set to enhance its dining options with the grand opening of Alembic, a world tapas restaurant launching Thursday, July 3, in the departure lounge. Alembic brings a Mediterranean-inspired menu that focuses on light bites and small plates designed for sharing. Highlights include Padron peppers, focaccia, Gambas al Ajillo, Spanish meatballs, and a variety of sharing boards, alongside daily specials to cater to diverse tastes.
For early travelers, Alembic offers a thoughtfully crafted breakfast menu featuring classics like scrambled eggs on sourdough, bacon croissant rolls, and Greek yoghurt. Mediterranean-inspired breakfast choices such as five beans on sourdough, avocado on focaccia, and shakshuka provide flavorful alternatives. The menu is inclusive, offering vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options to ensure everyone can enjoy a satisfying meal before departure.
Kate Gwyther, Head of Retail at Bristol Airport, commented, “We’re thrilled to introduce this premium dining experience within a stylish, relaxing environment. Alembic offers a unique choice for brunch, lunch, or dinner, featuring excellent South West drinks brands that customers can also purchase from the World Duty Free store after trying them at the restaurant.”
