In a closely contested Enterprise National League match, Sahid Kamara’s decisive goal sealed a 1-0 victory for Braintree against Yeovil Town, snapping their two-match losing streak.
The Glovers came close to taking the lead early on when Josh Sims’ curling shot from inside the box rattled the crossbar. Braintree responded with a chance of their own as Fletcher Hubbard set up Lewis Walker, who narrowly missed the target. At the other end, Mason Terry made a crucial save to deny Sims a second scoring opportunity.
The second half continued with intense action. Tommy Smith missed a close-range chance after Hubbard’s corner caused turmoil in the Yeovil defense, and Ben Wodskou came close, firing just wide.
