Police responded to a call on Saturday, January 24th, after a man’s body was discovered along Red Road near Brean Country Club in Somerset.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed the incident, stating, “Officers were alerted to the discovery of a body on Red Road. The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time. A file will be submitted to the coroner. The next of kin have been informed, and our thoughts are with them during this difficult time.”
Red Road passes by the Brean Country Club and golf course, both of which remain closed for renovations until spring, as well as the nearby Animal Farm Adventure Park.
