Body Found Near M5 in Search for Missing Somerset Man

A body has been discovered during the ongoing search for a missing Somerset man.

Avon and Somerset Police were alerted to the scene just off the M5 motorway between junctions 22 (Burnham-on-Sea) and 21 (Weston-super-Mare) on Saturday afternoon, 8 August. The discovery was made near the area of Loxton and Banwell.

Though formal identification has yet to be completed, authorities believe the body to be that of 52-year-old Scott Morris, who had been reported missing since 23 July. His next of kin have been informed of the discovery.
