A body has been discovered during the search for a missing man from Somerset. Authorities were alerted to the scene near the M5 motorway on Saturday afternoon, August 8. While formal identification procedures are still pending, it is believed that the remains are those of 52-year-old Scott Morris, who has not been seen since July 23. Scott’s next of kin have been informed of the situation. The death is currently not being treated as suspicious. Avon and Somerset Police released a statement saying: “We were called at around 12:50pm to a location on the M5 northbound between junctions 22 (Burnham-on-Sea) and 21 (Weston-super-Mare), near Loxton and Banwell, following the discovery of a body. We will be preparing a file and conducting further enquiries on behalf of the coroner.”
