Yeovil Town and their head coach, Billy Rowley, will not face an FA investigation following allegations of player poaching. Rowley was appointed by Yeovil Town in November, having previously managed Walton & Hersham, a lower-league club.
In May, Walton & Hersham accused Rowley of “repeated attempts to influence contracted players regarding their futures” and lodged a formal complaint with the Football Association. Walton & Hersham recently celebrated promotion to the National League South, making the allegations particularly significant.
However, the FA has since confirmed that there will be no further action. An official statement from the FA clarified: “There is no ongoing investigation into Yeovil Town or any members of its staff. Walton & Hersham submitted an official complaint, but we have not received sufficient evidence to proceed with an investigation.”

Despite the complaint, Yeovil Town have successfully signed three players from Walton & Hersham: winger Mason Obeng, midfielder Johl Powell, and goalkeeper Jos Barker.
