A motorcyclist has sustained serious injuries and was rushed to hospital after a collision involving a car and a motorbike on the A370 Main Road at Cleeve, Somerset, on Tuesday evening, June 17. Emergency services responded promptly to the crash, which occurred shortly after 5:30 PM.
The motorbike rider is currently receiving treatment for serious injuries. The car driver was also transported to hospital as a precautionary measure, with family members notified.
The A370 remains closed between Meetinghouse Lane and the Cleeve Garden Centre to facilitate a specialist collision investigation and vehicle recovery. Authorities expect the closure to last several hours and are urging motorists to avoid the area if possible.
