Biker Killed in Three-Vehicle Collision in Somerset

A tragic collision in Somerset has claimed the life of a motorcyclist. The fatal accident occurred on Sunday, August 3, in Chew Stoke, Chew Valley, involving three vehicles: a Suzuki GSXR 750, a green BMW X1, and a white Ford Transit van.

Emergency services responded to Chapel Lane at approximately 9:40 pm. Despite efforts to save the biker, Avon and Somerset Police confirmed that the rider was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s family has been notified and is receiving support from the police.

Chapel Lane was closed for an extensive crash investigation and subsequently reopened around 11:30 am the following day. Authorities are actively seeking witnesses who may have seen the collision or have dashcam footage, particularly anyone traveling nearby between 9:30 and 9:50 pm.
