A man in his 40s is fighting for his life after a collision involving his motorcycle and a Land Rover on the A346 at Collingbourne Ducis, Wiltshire. The crash occurred just after 10 a.m. this morning, prompting emergency services to close the road for several hours while attending to the scene.
The biker was airlifted to Southampton Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Wiltshire Police have launched an urgent appeal for help from motorists who were in the vicinity at the time of the incident or who may have witnessed the crash.
A police spokesperson urged anyone traveling near the unnamed road leading onto the A346 past The Shears Inn around 10 a.m. to come forward, especially the driver of a blue Audi A1. Authorities are particularly interested in any dash cam footage that could assist in their ongoing investigation.
