A woman in her 40s riding a motorbike was airlifted to hospital after a collision with a car in Somerset. The accident occurred on Sunday, July 19, at approximately 2 p.m. on Old Wells Road near Leigh on Mendip.
The crash involved a grey car and a white motorbike. Emergency services quickly responded, and Old Wells Road was temporarily closed while police conducted an investigation at the scene.
Avon and Somerset Police confirmed that the biker was transported by air ambulance to receive medical treatment. Her next of kin have been informed of her condition. The occupants of the car were unharmed and did not require hospital treatment.
