Bath Rugby is delighted to announce that prop Vilikesa Sela has extended his contract with his boyhood club, committing to stay until 2028.
Sela, who proudly carries his Fijian and Army heritage, began his rugby journey with Royal Wootton Bassett RFC and Beechen Cliff School before rising through Bath’s ranks. At just 20 years old, he has already earned 14 caps since making his senior debut against Leicester Tigers in September 2024. His impressive performances recently earned him a call-up to the England international squad for the 2026 Six Nations campaign.
Reflecting on his new deal, Sela said, “Bath is home for me. From playing in the Academy to the senior team, it’s always been a privilege to wear this jersey. I feel like something special is being built here for the future, so continuing my journey in the Blue, Black, and White is truly a blessing. Psalm 37:5.”

Head Coach Johann van Graan expressed his excitement about Sela’s future at Bath: “We are thrilled to see Billy continue his career with us. Watching him develop through the Bath pathway has been fantastic. His growth as a player and a person over the past few years has been remarkable, and without a doubt, his best is yet to come.”
