Beloved Husband and Grandad Among 22 Death Notices from Somerset

The tradition of announcing the passing of loved ones in local news remains a heartfelt and important part of our community. We are honoured by the trust placed in us to publish these tributes, providing a lasting record of those dearly missed. Every death notice we publish, both in print and online, also appears on funeral-notices.co.uk—the UK’s leading platform for death notices and memorials. This ensures that the memories of loved ones remain accessible forever, offering family and friends a secure place to share stories, photos, tributes, and contributions in their memory.

Each week, we pay homage to those from our area who have passed away, by sharing funeral notices and online tribute pages. Below is a selection of recent announcements published earlier this week:

  • Passed peacefully at the Royal Marsden Hospital, Sutton, on 3rd January 2026, aged 75. A celebration of a life well lived will be held at Holy Trinity Church, Frome, on Friday 23rd January at 2:00 pm. Family flowers only; donations welcome via specified charities.
