Ziangs 35a, the beloved Far East dining spot located in Minehead, is closing its doors as a restaurant but will be rebranding its business model. The renowned restaurant, known for its culinary excellence and ranking among the top 3 Far East restaurants in the UK, will continue to occupy its current location. However, it will now focus on selling a selection of frozen ready meals and hosting occasional pop-up restaurants for special events.
Owners Chin and Choo Taylor took to Facebook to announce the change, citing the operational demands of running a full-service restaurant as the reason for the transition. They expressed gratitude to their supportive patrons and shared their excitement for upcoming projects which include new products, cookbooks, app development, and undisclosed endeavors.
Patrons are encouraged to enjoy a last dining experience at the restaurant on Saturday, May 3, 2025, before the transition takes place.
