Beekeepers Transform Honey into Pollinator-Friendly Meadows with New Partnership

British honey producer Black Bee Honey is stepping up its commitment to pollinator conservation by releasing an eco-friendly gift set in partnership with seed bomb innovator Kabloom, just in time for World Bee Day on Monday, May 20.

This Somerset-based B Corp has already contributed to rewilding over 30 acres of UK land since 2020 and donates 2% of its turnover to the conservation charity Plantlife, which counts the King among its patrons. Founded by beekeepers Chris Barnes and Paul Webb, Black Bee Honey aims to raise awareness about the decline in bee populations and encourage the creation of habitats that support pollinators.

Paul Webb shared, “Our 2% for pollinators commitment has allowed us to make a meaningful impact on biodiversity, one of our proudest achievements. We believe businesses should focus on generating positive change rather than mere profit. As we grow, so will our environmental contributions.”

To commemorate World Bee Day, Black Bee Honey and Kabloom have launched a limited-edition £30 World Bee Day Bundle. This set features Black Bee Honey’s 4 Seasons Mini Honey Jar Gift Box, a recipe card, and Kabloom’s Birds, Bees & Butterflies Seedbom Gift Box. The bundle is available with free UK delivery via blackbeehoney.com.

Sales from each Seedbom in the bundle fund Wild Britain, Kabloom’s initiative dedicated to restoring UK landscapes. Chris Barnes remarked, “Partnering with Kabloom for this special bundle felt natural. It’s an excellent way to support pollinators from seed to spoon.”

Kabloom Managing Director Olly Tyler added, “We are proud to collaborate with a brand that shares our values. Proceeds from every Seedbom gift box sold will go directly to Wild Britain®, helping restore vital habitats across the UK.”

Founded in 2010, Black Bee Honey began when Chris and Paul bonded over their passion for bees while working in a design office. Starting with hives in their gardens, they eventually left their jobs to nurture bees in London’s rooftop and urban gardens. Now based in Somerset, they collaborate with beekeepers nationwide to produce a fully traceable, 100% British honey range.

Their seasonal collection, including Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter honeys, is available by subscription. Each variety showcases regional foraging—from Scottish heather moors to Norfolk salt marshes—and features the location and name of the beekeeper who produced it.
