The Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice Awards' Best of the Best Restaurants 2024 has been unveiled, featuring notable dining spots from around the globe. Among the recognized establishments, Bath’s Cappadocia Mediterranean Restaurant has secured the 10th spot in the ‘Casual Dining Category,’ distinguishing itself for its relaxed ambiance, vibrant decor, and authentic Turkish cuisine, including a range of kebabs and casseroles. Notably, the restaurant also offers takeaway services, contributing to its recognition in this category.
First established in 2019, Cappadocia has gained popularity for being the only Turkish restaurant in the city, becoming a local favorite. This year, the restaurant expanded its reach by opening a branch in Bristol, further extending its culinary offerings of Turkish and Mediterranean dishes, much like its esteemed Bath location.
In addition to Cappadocia, several other Southwest venues have been featured in the awards. Devon and Cornwall are represented in the ‘Date Night UK’ category with Fifty in Looe, Cornwall, Paul Ainsworth at No. 6 in Padstow, Cornwall, and Restaurant Kensington in Lynton, Exmoor National Park. Across the bridge in Wales, The Really Wild Emporium in St. Davids, Pembrokeshire, and The Bank Restaurant in Barmouth, North Wales, have also secured spots on the prestigious list.

The awards are based on 12 months of global review data, covering nine categories: Casual Dining, Date Night, Fine Dining, Hidden Gems, Outdoor, Pet-Friendly, Sustainable, Quick Bites, and Vegan & Vegetarian, showcasing the top dining destinations favored by Tripadvisor reviewers worldwide.
