Batheaston Art Trail 2025: A Celebration of Creativity and Heritage

The Batheaston Art Trail returns in 2025, marking its 5th anniversary with an impressive showcase of creativity and heritage. Taking place over the weekend of September 27 and 28, this popular West Country event invites visitors to explore the work of around 50 talented artists across five venues and individual home studios.

Visitors can meet ceramicists, illustrators, graphic designers, textile artists, sculptors, painters, printers, and jewellers, all sharing their passion and craft. The venues include the Batheaston New Village Hall, the Scout Hall, and St John the Baptist Church—the latter also providing refreshments. Workshops will be hosted at the Youth Club and the Rhymes Pavilion, offering hands-on creative experiences for attendees.

Beyond art, the trail honors Batheaston’s strong connection to the suffragette movement. Bunting in the iconic suffragette colors of green, purple, and white adorns the venues, and a special display of suffragette memorabilia can be found inside St John’s Church during the event.
