A 15-year-old boy from Bath has appeared at Bath Magistrates’ Court following threats made to two teachers. The boy, who was 14 when the offenses occurred and is not named for legal reasons, admitted to three charges during the youth court hearing on April 23.
Between April 30 and July 11 of last year, he threatened one teacher with sexual violence, including threats to rape and paralyse her, and warned of sharing intimate deepfake images purportedly depicting her. Additionally, he threatened to distribute a photograph showing or appearing to show the teacher in an intimate state.
Between July 8 and 11, the boy threatened a second teacher, causing her to fear for her safety. He instructed her to keep her windows shut, claiming he knew her family’s address. He was also verbally abusive toward this teacher and issued threats to harm a baby.

As a result, the court imposed a 12-month referral order and ordered the boy to pay £5,000 in compensation. Magistrates also issued a restraining order prohibiting him from contacting the two women, either directly or indirectly, and forbidding him from entering a specified school for three years.
