Bath Rugby’s 2026/27 PREM Rugby Cup Fixtures Confirmed

Bath Rugby will launch their 2026/27 PREM Rugby Cup campaign with an away fixture against Sale Sharks on September 6, after being drawn into Group A.

This season, the PREM Rugby Cup format remains unchanged. The 10 Gallagher Premiership clubs are divided into two groups of five, each playing eight matches during the group stage with two designated bye weekends. The initial two rounds take place in September ahead of the Premiership league kick-off, while the remaining eight rounds and knockout phases will be scheduled through the Autumn international windows and the Six Nations Championship.

At the end of Round 10, the top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, followed by the final to determine the cup winner.

Group A features a strong South West presence, with Bath Rugby joining Bristol Bears, Exeter Chiefs, Gloucester, and Sale Sharks. Group B consists of Harlequins, Saracens, Leicester Tigers (the reigning PREM Rugby Cup champions), Northampton Saints, and Newcastle Falcons.

In addition to their PREM Rugby Cup schedule, Bath Rugby have arranged three friendly matches, effectively complementing their Round 2 bye in the competition. Bath will travel to France to face Perpignan on Thursday, August 27, before returning home to host Bedford Blues at Goldington Road on Friday, September 11. They will then play Glasgow Warriors in Scotland on Friday, September 18.

The Gallagher Premiership season officially begins on September 25, setting the stage for a competitive campaign ahead.
